Josephine Beziat

Board Treasurer

Josephine has more than 12 years of Human Resources management experience working in mid-size nonprofit organizations. She is a Senior Manager of Human Resources and Operations for a nonprofit organization leading research and education for clean energy and utilities.

Previously, she worked for organizations such as USA for UNHCR dedicated to protect and empower refugees, and Primary Care Coalition devoted to providing healthcare for underprivileged children, youth, and adults. Additionally, she volunteers for the INROADS program to assist youth with vocational and job interview skills. Her areas of expertise include recruitment, compliance, policy and procedure implementation, onboarding and HR infrastructure, benefits and payroll administration, employee relations and handbook development.

Josephine is passionate about assisting and strengthening people and communities. Working for organizations that support underserved populations gave her a unique window from which to view humanitarian challenges facing people. Consequently, she has developed a commitment to human rights and social justice.
